January Stamp Club

Reverse Applique Technique with Heart to Heart Punch

1. Open the up the Kraft card base so that you are looking at the inside of the card. (Make sure you are working on the front of the card, not the back.)

2. On the lower left hand corner of the Kraft card stock, use the Heart to Heart Punch to punch out the three hearts close to the BOTTOM of the card. Move the punch over to the center of the card base, moving it as HIGH as it will go. Punch again.

3. Still working on the inside of the card, use a Two Way Glue Pen or Tombo Liquid Glue around the edge of a heart. Place a piece of scrap over the heart hole, making sure the scrap does not cover a neighboring heart. Do this to each heart until all are covered with a variety of scraps. You might have to trim the scraps to fit each heart.

4. Flip the card over and stamp the Dotted Heart and "Love You much" sentiment in Chocolate Chip Ink.

5. On Very Vanilla card stock, stamp the group of Three Hearts in Real Red. Punch out with Heart to Heart Punch. Place a dimensional on the back of the "Plaid Heart" and add to the center of the Dotted Heart.

Dimensions:

Kraft card base: 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
Sending Love DSP: scraps

Pretty in Pink: 2 3/4 x 5 1/2 (for inside of card to cover up DSP scraps)

Ink: Real Red, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Heart to Heart Punch, Two Way Glue Pen (Tombo Liquid Glue also works well), Dimensional

Rich Razzleberry I {Heart} Hearts

1. Use a Corner Rounder Punch to round two corners of Kraft card stock.

2. Flip Kraft card stock over and add a strip of adhesive along the edge of the straight edge (non-rounded cornered edge). Punch out five circle in Pretty in Pink using the 3/4" Circle Punch and starting in the center, place circles over the adhesive with about half of the circle overhanging the Kraft card stock. Once all circles have been placed, trim off outer edges of Pretty in Pink circles.

3. Use Pinking Hearts Border Punch on a small strip of Whisper White card stock. Tape onto Kraft card stock overlapping the pink circles.

4. On the Kraft card stock, stamp the Dotted Heart in Rich Razzleberry ink and the Solid Large Heart in Craft White ink.

5. On Whisper White card stock, stamp the Three Hearts two times. Once in Rich Razzleberry ink and once in Pretty in Pink ink. Use the Heart to Heart Punch to punch out hearts. Glue the smallest Pretty in Pink inside the Dotted Heart and the plaid Rich Razzleberry heart in the white large heart.

6. Complete card by stamping "Love You much" in Basic Black ink.
