June Stamp Club

Watercolor Trio with Smooch Spritz

Directions:

1. Stamp the three flower images in Certainly Celery, Close to Cocoa and Taken with Teal on the Natural White card stock. Each flower has its own ink colour.

2. Using the Log Cabin Smooch Spritz spray the stamped image carefully. Spray the Kraft card base with Log Cabin Smooch Spritz as well.

I found that I needed to be careful when I sprayed with the Log Cabin SS. I pressed with a light touch so that I wouldn't make a big blotch over my stamped image. (Maybe I have a faulty spray bottle. Let me know if you do not have this problem.) Practice on a scrap first.

3. Spray stamped image with Vanilla Smooch Spritz. I squirted quite generously. Set aside to dry.

4. Using the Scalloped Trim Border Punch, punch one edge of Close to Cocoa card stock.
5. Tape Close to Cocoa, Taken with Teal and stamped Naturals White card stock together. Tie a piece of Early Espresso Taffeta Ribbon (NEW!!) around these layers. Adhere to Kraft card base.

Dimensions:

Kraft Card Base: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2

Petal Pizzazz with Glitter and Sticky Cuts

I have been meaning to use the Sticky Cuts for a while now. Finally had the chance and now they are retiring! The new catalogue has just a plain sheet of sticky cuts that can be run through the Big Shot.

1. Run the Brocade Blue card stock through the Big Shot with the Texturz Plate.

2. Stamp three flowers and two leaves from the Petal Pizzazz stamp set on scraps of of Whisper White card stock. Cut out.

3. For stems of flowers, bend two narrow strips of Certainly Celery card stock keeping one straight. Using the two-way glue pen, attach strips to Brocade Blue card stock.

4. Tie white embroidery thread through clear itty bitty button. Add glue dot to back of button and adhere to Borcade Blue flower. Another option is to use a crystal brad. Adhere flower to middle stem. Here is the card with the Itty Bitty Button.

5. Add silver brad to So Saffron flower. Add dimensional to back of flower and attach to card.

6. Rub the embossing buddy over the Pretty in Pink flower. This helps get rid of the static. Add a Sticky Cut flower (from Sticky Cut Sweet package) to center of Pretty in Pink flower. Add glitter. Add dimenionals to back of flower and place on card

7. Add dimenionals to back of leaves and attach to card. Tie Certainly Celery ribbon in a knot and adhere with a glue dot.
