Color Renovation!!

Thought some of you might be interested in this.....

This week Stampin' Up! announced a Color Renovation! This means that they are retiring some of their current colors, bringing back some of the past In Colors, and introducing some BRAND NEW COLORS. There will also be five new In Colors as well. All in time for the new catalogue in July!! I love the colors and combinations they have come up with!

Here are the current colors that will retire in June:

Since it is hard to read the names, I will list them for you:

pink passion, pixie pink, pale plum, orchid opulence, lovely lilac, lavender lace,

almost amethyst, bordering blue, brocade blue, ballet blue, brilliant blue, taken with teal,

glorious green, handsome hunter, sage shadow, mellow moss, green galore, gable green,

barely banana, summer sun, yoyo yellow, apricot appeal, only orange really rust,

ruby red, cameo coral, blush blossom, creamy caramel, close to cocoa and going gray.

As of July, here are what the four new color collections will look like:

These color charts are a bit small but I couldn't get them any bigger. Sorry about that.

Thanks for stopping by.

Tagged for Questioning

I was viewing my daily dose of blogs when I came across this "tag" on Ingenious Inkling. I usually don't do these things, but the first question caught my eye. So I decided to do the entire thing being that it was nice and short.

What were you doing 10 years ago?I was on my honeymoon on Vancouver Island. For part of the week we were at a gorgeous Bed and Breakfast in Parksville on the east side of the island. The other part we were camping near Tofino on the west side.

Five things on today's to do list: 1. Make two batches of meatballs for the freezer 2. Return a couple of phone calls 3. Prepare the craft activity for our church retreat on Saturday 4. Transfer money from one account to another for our trip to New York (to celebrate 10 years of marriage) 5. Book pedicures for my mom and me (have to get my toes ready for New York *wink*)

Snacks I enjoy: Any kind of "good" chocolate, especially dark

Things I would do if I was a millionaire: Travel; Redo my kitchen.....okay, the whole house

Places I have lived: Winnipeg, MB; Altona, MB; Kitchener, ON; Calgary, AB; Chilliwack, BC; Abbotsford, BC

I will try to post a card in the next little while. As I mentioned, we are going to New York next week. I have been busy trying to do the every day activities that need to be done, get ready for my parents, who will be looking after the boys, and organize things for the trip.

Thanks for stopping by.

Over 4,000 Hits.....

on the visit counter. Wow! Thanks to everyone who stops by to take a look at some of the cards I make. And thank you to those of you who leave comments. I began this blog to keep a record of the cards I make and never thought I'd have people visit my blog on a regular basis (Hugs to my friends out there. You know who you are.) Sooo, please keep visiting. I will be giving some blog candy once I reach 5,000 hits. Whoo hoo!!

Sorry, I don't have a card for you today. And I'm not sure if I'll be able to post one tomorrow. On Friday we are having over forty adults and children for brunch at our house after the Good Friday Service. I have been busy baking for that. Tomorrow the cleaning begins.

Thanks for stopping by. I'll try to have a card soon.

Happy New Year!

Hi. I am still on holidays in BC. Having a great time with family. But we got snow here, can you believe it. I thought we left that behind. Oh, well.

I will be back in January, so I will make a post then. Thanks for looking.

By the way, have you noticed the comments from Adam Brown in the previous post? He seems to think that I've contacted him about some abs diet. I haven't decided on a New Years Resolution yetso maybe working on my abs should be it??? Very funny.

Have a happy new year!

Yikes!

I can't believe that I am doing this. I am not computer savvy at all! And now I am going to attempt this blogging thing. I've been viewing other people's blogs (mostly card making ones) for a couple of months now and have decided to try one of my own. I think I must be crazy!

One of the reasons I'd like to blog is to try to keep a record of some the projects, cards and scrap booking, that I do. And maybe in the process someone will have a look and leave a comment or two.....maybe.

We'll see how it goes and how long it will take me to figure things out. OK, I'm going to click on Publish and see how it looks.... . Wait, I just saw the Preview "button".... See, this will take me some time to figure things out.
