One Last Yeehaw!!

Okay. This is the last cowgirl card that I have. But hey, who knows, I might decide to make a few more. I just LOVE the stickfigures. Maybe because that is how I draw and can relate. LOL
This is was a very quick and simple card to make. I did add a border to the inside of the card to jazz it up a bit. Sometimes it is nice to have a simple card! The cowgirl stands out and says, "Hey dude, look at me." :)

Supplies:

Stamps: Cowgirl (clearly wordsworth)
Paper: Basic Black, Designer Paper (Basic Grey), Embossed Card Base (DCWV)
Ink: Black Stazon
Accessories: Scalloped Edge Punch, Paper Snips, Tombo Liquid Glue

5.5 x 5.5 card

More Cowgirls

As you can see, I am still on this cowgirl kick. I have one more to post. :)

A couple details about the card: 1) I stamped one of the Itty Bitty Background stamps (one that has more uniform polka dots) on Not Quite Navy card stock, then stamped the cowgirl on top of polka dots and cut out the dress. Then I glued them on the girls of the main image. 2) Also, I masked the middle girl so that there wouldn't be arms and legs sticking out everywhere. Get it?? Stick people sticking out. Yeah I know. It's a stretch. LOL

Supplies:

Stamps: Cowgirl (clearly wordsworth), best wishes (Studio G), Itty Bitty Backgrounds
Paper: Not Quite Navy, Old Olive, Naturals White, Designer Paper (Basic Grey)
Ink: Close to Cocoa, Not Quite Navy, Old Olive, Black Stazon
Accessories: Navy Organdy Ribbon, Blender Pen

Clearly Cowgirl

My cousin asked me to make her some cards. She is a cowgirl at heart so I knew immediately which stamp I wanted to use.... the cowgirl from my Clearly Wordsworth set. Love that girl!

If you look carefully, you will notice two small cowgirl charms hanging from the ribbon on the first two cards. During the Christmas holidays, the boys and I were doing Shrink Art as a craft and I made these cute cowgirls. Very fun.

Howdy Y'All

I hope you are having a good day. It is shortly before 10am and I've dropped Zachary off at school, gone for a walk, gone for a blood test and now I am here to write a post. Wow. It feels like I've done a lot already and yet I have the whole day ahead of me. Let's hope the rest of the day is just as productive. Isn't it funny how some days you can get lots done and other days you get nothing done.

I made this card a while ago. Finally decided to post it. I love these cowgirls. They are just so fun. Their dresses are paper pieced with Basic Grey patterned paper.

Supplies:

Stamps: Cowgirl & Howdy (clearly wordsworth)
Paper: Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Mellow Designer Paper (Basic Grey)
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Sponge Dauber, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, 1/8" Hand Held Punch, Hemp Twine, Paper Snips

Yeehaw, Cowgirl!!

Finally I was able to make it to my local scrapbook store for a very quick look-around. I've been wanting to go for a looong time. But it is not a place where I want to take the boys, so I don't go there very often. Well, I spent about half an hour looking, no, ogling, the Basic Grey patterned paper. When I did move on to see what was in the other parts of the store, I came across these clear stamps by clearly wordsworth. I have seen them on line and loved them, so I HAD to buy them. I just love the stick figure images. So far I have just used the cowgirl. Every time I see anything cowgirl/boy related, I think of my favourit-est cousin. So this card is dedicated to her, a cowgirl through and through. I will be sending it to her as well. By the way, I did buy some Basic Grey paper.

Supplies:

Stamps: Cowgirl and Yeehaw (clearly wordsworth)
Paper: Very Vanilla, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Cool Caribbean, Mellow Designer Paper (Basic Grey)
Ink: Brown Stazon, Cool Caribbean, Close to Cocoa
Accessories: Twill, Vintage Copper Brads, Dimensionals, Paper Snips (to paper piece her dress), Two-way Glue stick, Sponge Dauber, Distresser (Cutter Kit)

4.75 x 4.75 card
