Stamp Sets for Sale

Hello stampers,

I am trying to clean up and organize my stamp room.  As a result, I have decided to sell some of my stamp sets.  If you would like to purchase any of these, please send me an email, phone call or leave a comment and then I'll contact you to arrange for pick up.  (Unfortunately I will not be shipping these out, so you will need to be able to pick them up. )  I will put you on a waiting list for a stamp set if there are multiple people who would like to buy the same set.  Then if there is a "no-show", the next person on the list will be able to purchase the set.

If you are not sure what stamps look like in a particular set, you can go to the Splitcoaststampers website HERE to see examples made by a particular set.  Or you might be able to find it on ebay and be able to see a picture of the stamp set.  If all else fails, I will take a picture of the set and email it to you.  :)

Payment by Cash or cheque.
Pick up only.

All stamps are 50% or more!

Manhattan Flowers in Watercolour

Manhattan Flowers in Watercolour by Andrea G71
May Stamp Club

I found my inspiration to this card in the 2011-12 Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalogue on page 181.  Now that I look back on the card in the catalogue, I realized that I wanted to add tiny pearls to the centers of the roses.  I forgot!!  I will have to go back and add them.

I think this is a fairly basic card to make just by looking at the card so there really aren't a lot of directions.  I do have a couple of things to note, as usual.

The roses are created by using the Manhattan Flowers Embossing Folder on Watercolour Paper.  They are coloured with an Aquapainter using.... get this..... CAJUN CRAZE ink....  Can you believe it?  I find that Cajun Craze is such a rusty colour and it comes out quite peachy (no pun intended) on the watercolour paper.  I also added some Old Olive ink to create the effect of leaves.

The Oval Designer Frame was used on Early Espresso card stock.  I added another shim (thin piece of card board) to the Big Shot "sandwich" because I tore the oval rather than cut it out.

Supplies:

Stamps:  Field Flowers (sentiment)
Ink:  Cajun Craze, Old Olive, Early Espresso, Early Espresso Marker, Tangerine Tango Marker
Paper:  Very Vanilla, Watercolour Paper, Old Olive, Early Espresso
Accessories:  Small Library Clip, Lucky Limeade Baker's Twine, Designer Frame Embossing Folder, Stripes Embossing Folder, Oval Punch,  Edge Distresser, Dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by.

Field Flowers

Field Flowers by Andrea G71

May Stamp Club Card

This card idea was taken from the front cover of the 2011-12 Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalogue.  Below is a side view of the card.  As you can see there is a little flap to put a gift card or seed packet inside.  We tried a gum package but it was a little too thick.

Field Flowers (side view)

Supplies:

Stamps:  Field Flowers, Kindness Matters, Elizabeth, A to Z
Paper:  Soft Suede 12 x 12, Tangerine Tango, Old Olive DSP, Very Vanilla
Ink:  Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Calypso Coral, Tangerine Tango, Old Olive
Accessories:  Linen Thread, Antique Brads, Water Spritzer, 3/4" Circle Punch, Edge Distresser, 3/8" Twill Ribbon

Card Dimensions:

Soft Suede Card Base:  11-3/4 x 4
Old Olive DSP:  1-3/4 x 4
Tangerine Tango:  31/4 x 4
Very Vanilla: 3-1/8 x 3-7/8

A few instructions....

Spritz Old Olive DSP with water and crumple.  Carefully open up and let dry.

Stamp "thanks" or sentiment of your choice on the  twill with Early Espresso ink.  Carefully fray edges of twill.

To create flower heads follow the two step stamping technique:   Use Calypso Coral ink with the more solid flower head from the Field Flowers set.  Stamp on scrap paper once before stamping on the Very Vanilla card stock.  Then stamp over this image with the more outlined flower head in Tangerine Tango ink.  Add the flower center using Early Espresso ink.

Distress edges of card.

Well, if you have any questions about this card, please let me know.  :)  Thanks for stopping by.
