Rolled Paper Flowers on Sycamore Street

Rolled Paper Flowers on Sycamore Street by Andrea G71

The Second February Stamp Club Card

To make the Rolled Paper Flowers I think I followed THIS TUTORIAL on youtube.  There are so many out there!  There are some other neat tutorials  that would be kind of fun to try.  Just slight versions of the same thing:  HERE and HERE.

The one thing I found when making these flowers is that the bigger the circle and wider your spiral cut, the bigger your flower will be.  Just experiment.  It's fun!!

The flowers shown in the photo use the 2-1/2" and 1-3/4" circle punches.  Don't forget to add a few glue dots at the bottom of the flower and then stick the flap over it to keep the flower together.

By the way, this will not fit in a regular envelope.

Supplies:

Stamps:  Feeling Sentimental (SAB 2013)
Paper:  Sycamore Street DSP, Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry, Pool Party
Ink:  Rich Razzleberry
Accessories:  Paper Doily, Little Leaves Embosslit, Circle Punches: 2-1/2" & 1-3/4", Scissors, Craft Tweezers, Glue Dots

Thanks for stopping by.

Hearts a Flutter Banner

Hearts a Flutter Banner by Andrea G71

February Stamp Club Card

I saw a similar card in the demonstrator magazine, Stampin' Success and thought it might be a good one to make with my stamp club.  I did make one change that is not shown in the picture: I added a layer of Basic Grey card stock between the Pool Party and Whisper White card base.  You can never have too many layers.  :)

Stamps:  Hearts a Flutter, Itty Bitty Banners
Paper:  Pool Party Co'ordinations, Pool Party, Whisper White, Primrose Petals, Silver Glimmer
Ink:  Pool Party, Basic Grey, Primrose Petals, Pink Pirouette,
Accessories:  Honeycomb Embossing Folder, Sanding Block, White Baker's Twine, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Framelits: Hearts a Flutter & Itty Bitty Banners, Small Heart Punch, Itty Bitty Buttons,

Ink:  Pacific Point, Marina Mist (raindrops stamped off on scrap paper first)

Fall to Layout 224

Fall to Layout 224 by Andrea G71

Yesterday was my day off and I decided I would take a little "me" time.  I checked out the sketch challenge on the Clean and Simple blog and came up with this card.  It came together quite quickly.  This card used some of the new product from the Stampin' Up SAB brochure. (You will be able to view it online at the end of the month.)

Here is the sketch.  As you can see I followed it quite closely.

Supplies:

Stamps:  Itty Bitty Banners
Paper:  Sycamore Street DSP (SAB 2013), Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White
Ink:  Rich Razzleberry
Accessories:  Bitty Banners Framelits, Vine Street Embossing Folder, Pool Party Ribbon (SAB 2013), Pool Party Button (SAB 2013), White Baker's Twine, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die

I made another card using the same sketch.  You'll have to check back in the next day or two.  :)

Thanks for stopping by.

My sister-in-law attended a wedding this weekend and asked me to make a card for her.  After searching on the web for an idea as I was pressed for time, I found THIS CARD to CASE.
