September Stamp Club Card
Last Friday, we had our first stamp club workshop. After having the summer off, it was great to get together to stamp, visit and eat some great food. The group was small so we had time to make three cards plus an envelope. Stay posted as there are more cards to come.
This card is fairly straight forward to make by looking at the supply list. THIS is the card that inspired mine. Here is one I made that looks similar:
I embossed it in white. Hope you can see it as it was very hard to capture with the camera.
The Postage Due set was stamped in Whisper White and heat embossed with White Embossing Powder. Daffodil Delight and Pacific Point ink was sponged over the embossed image in a circular motion. Use a tissue to remove the ink from the embossed image. It helps make the white stand out a little more.
A couple of changes to supplies at our stamp club workshop: We used Pacific Point 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon and Floral District DSP rather the ribbon and dsp listed below.
Supplies:
Stamps: Postage Due
Paper: Whisper White, Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight, International Bazaar DSP
Ink: Whisper White, Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight
Accessories: White Embossing Powder, Embossing Buddy, Heat Gun, Sponge, Postage Stamp Punch, Daffodil Delight 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon, Edgelit Die, Big Shot, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by.
